In 2015 girls were honored from all the Pittsburgh Public High Schools. Two girls, whose lives give an example of those honored, were Tiara and Tierra Travis, 2015 graduates of Taylor Alderdice High School. Their commonality is that of perseverance despite the odds against them. It is for this perseverance that Zonta Club of Pittsburgh honors these young women.
